The 4.00-8 Butyl Inner Tube is MaxTop's core high-volume product — manufactured in-house at our 21,000m² factory with a daily output of 15,000 tubes. Made from premium butyl rubber, it delivers 8-10x better air retention than natural rubber tubes, keeping your tires properly inflated for longer periods with less maintenance.
Available in both Butyl Rubber (superior air retention, ideal for commercial use) and Natural Rubber (flexible, lightweight, economical) options. Our inner tubes are precision-molded to match all standard 4.00-8 pneumatic wheelbarrow and hand truck tires. Compatible with Maxtop, SKYSTAR, TGum, and third-party tires. Custom valve types (TR13, TR87, TR75A, etc.) available for OEM orders.

Wheelbarrow & Cart Tubes. 4.00-8 inner tubes are our second-highest volume product. Supplied as OEM to wheelbarrow manufacturers and as replacement parts to hardware distributors. TR13 valve standard. Available in bulk packaging or retail-ready boxes.
Car & Light Truck Tubes. For vehicles still using tube-type tires in developing markets. Butyl compound for superior air retention — typically holds pressure 8-10x longer than natural rubber alternatives.

Butyl vs natural rubber — which should I choose?
Butyl rubber (recommended for most uses): Superior air retention — 8-10x better than natural rubber. Ideal for daily-use vehicles and equipment where frequent pressure checks are impractical. Natural rubber: Better elasticity and tear resistance. Preferred for off-road, agricultural, and heavy-duty applications where puncture resistance is the priority. We produce both — specify when ordering.
What valve types are available and how do I choose?
TR4: Straight valve, most common for motorcycle rims. TR6: Straight valve with a larger base, for wider rims. TR13: Short rubber valve, standard for wheelbarrow and small equipment tubes. TR87: 90-degree angled valve for tight clearance applications. Include your rim specifications when ordering.
How are tubes packaged for international shipping?
Standard: Bulk-packed in poly bags, 50 or 100 per master carton. Retail-ready: Individual boxes with size label, barcode, and multilingual instructions. Custom packaging available through our
OEM program. Tubes are folded with talc powder to prevent sticking during transit.
