Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions about our products, ordering process, and OEM services.

What is the difference between PU Foam and Pneumatic wheels?
PU Foam wheels use solid polyurethane foam — they are puncture-proof, flat-free, and require zero maintenance. They never need air, making them ideal for industrial and construction environments where a flat tire means costly downtime. Pneumatic wheels use an air-filled inner tube inside a rubber tire — they offer superior shock absorption for rough, uneven terrain. The air cushion absorbs vibration and impact, making them more comfortable for hand-operated equipment. Choose PU Foam for zero-maintenance reliability; choose Pneumatic for comfort and shock absorption on bumpy surfaces.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ is 500 pieces per model for most PU foam and pneumatic wheels. For the large-diameter 480/400-8 PU foam model, MOQ is 2,000 pieces. Pneumatic wheel orders can range from 500 to 5,000 pieces depending on the specific model and configuration. We also accommodate mixed-container orders — contact us with your requirements and we will find the best solution for you.
What bearing and hub types are available?
We offer three hub types: Ball Bearing (standard, low rolling resistance, ideal for most applications); Roller Bearing (heavy-duty, higher load capacity, ideal for industrial use); Steel Bushing (cost-effective, simple design, ideal for budget-sensitive applications). Hub bore sizes are customizable for OEM orders. Specify your preference when requesting a quote.
How do I choose the right tread pattern?
R1 (Agricultural): Deep, widely-spaced lugs — best for grass, mud, and loose soil. Cross Pattern: Balanced grip on mixed surfaces — concrete, gravel, asphalt. Lug Pattern: Aggressive directional tread — ideal for construction sites and steep terrain. Line/Rib Pattern: Smooth rolling on hard surfaces — best for warehouse and indoor use. Big Square: Large block pattern — maximum traction for heavy loads. If unsure, Cross Pattern is the most versatile choice for mixed-use environments.
What certifications do your products have?
All products are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards. Most models also carry CE (European Conformity), TUV (German technical inspection), and SGS (independent testing) certifications. Select product lines — particularly our SKYSTAR brand — are REACH and PAHs compliant for full EU market access. Certification documents are available upon request.
Do you offer OEM / ODM services?
Yes, we offer comprehensive OEM and ODM services. This includes: Custom branding (your logo on the tire sidewall); Custom colors (tire compound and hub colors); Private label packaging; Custom tread patterns (new mold development); Custom compounds (specific hardness, color, or performance characteristics). MOQ for OEM orders may be higher than standard orders. Contact our team with your requirements for a tailored proposal.
How long does shipping take?
Standard production and delivery time is 15–30 days from order confirmation, depending on the season and order volume. During peak season (spring) or for large orders, delivery may take 30–45 days. We ship worldwide from Qingdao Port, one of China's largest container ports. Sea freight transit times vary by destination: 15–25 days to Europe, 20–35 days to the Americas, 10–20 days to Southeast Asia.
Can I get samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes, samples are available for quality testing and evaluation. Sample lead time is typically 5–7 days plus shipping time. Sample costs are often refundable against your first bulk order — please discuss this with our sales team when requesting samples. We recommend testing samples to verify fit, performance, and quality before committing to a production order.
What is the difference between Maxtop, SKYSTAR, and TGum brands?
Maxtop: Our value-for-money universal line — best price-performance ratio for everyday applications. The most popular brand for general-purpose wheels. TGum: Our heavy-duty industrial line — engineered for extreme conditions with maximum durability, higher load capacity, and enhanced chemical resistance. Ideal for construction and material handling. SKYSTAR: Our premium performance line — top-tier materials with REACH and PAHs certification for EU market compliance. The choice for demanding European customers. All three brands are manufactured in the same ISO 9001-certified facility with the same 18-year quality heritage.
Are your products REACH and RoHS compliant for the EU market?
Yes. Our SKYSTAR brand products are fully REACH (EC 1907/2006) compliant with SVHC substances below 0.1% threshold. They also meet PAHs AfPS GS 2019:01 PAK Category 1 requirements and RoHS (2011/65/EU) directives for restricted substances. Complete substance declaration documents and test reports from SGS/TÜV are available upon request. For other brands (Maxtop, TGum), please specify your compliance requirements — we can manufacture to EU standards on demand.
Do you ship to Europe? What are the transit times and costs?
Yes, we ship to Europe every week. Sea freight from Qingdao Port to major European ports: Rotterdam ~23 days, Hamburg ~25 days, Antwerp ~24 days. We offer FOB Qingdao terms standard — you arrange freight, or we can quote CIF/DDP to your door. LCL (less-than-container-load) available for trial orders. We work with Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, and COSCO. Air freight via DHL/FedEx in 3-5 days for samples and urgent orders. EU customs clearance support provided.
Do you provide CE certification documents and Declaration of Conformity?
Yes. We provide CE Declaration of Conformity (DoC) for all applicable products, along with TÜV type approval certificates, SGS test reports, and REACH compliance statements. These documents are essential for EU customs clearance and are included with every shipment to the EU. Digital copies can be sent in advance for your import documentation preparation. Please specify which documents you need when placing your order.
What about EU VAT and import duties?
For FOB/CIF orders, you are the importer of record and responsible for VAT and customs duties in your country. We provide the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, and all necessary certificates for clearance. Typical EU import duty on wheels and tires (HS 4016.99 / 8716.90) ranges from 2.7% to 4.5%. For DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) orders, we handle everything — including VAT prepayment through our EU fiscal representative. Please ask for a DDP quote if you prefer a hassle-free delivered price.
